Document Translation (Specifically for Immigration)

Why choose We Translate Now over your competitors?

We ensure accuracy through a rigorous five-step process. Beyond that, we don’t just offer “certified translations”—our work is performed or reviewed by certified professionals: either ATA-certified translators or certified US court interpreters. When choosing a translation service, ask about their translators’ credentials. Unlike many competitors who may only certify the document itself, we provide the assurance of qualified experts handling your important materials. This guarantees your translations are done right the first time so that your immigration process isn’t delayed.

We specialize in birth, marriage, and divorce certificates, as well as other supporting documents for US immigration cases from Spanish and Portuguese to English. For other types of documents and languages, please email us.

This is a translator who was been certified by the American Translators Association. Very few translators have this credential, and it is considered the gold standard in the industry.

When we are unable to use an ATA-certified translator, we use a certified court interpreter. A certified court interpreter focuses on spoken language in real-time, as opposed to a translator who only works with the written word. Interpreters are often qualified to translate because their certification demonstrates proficiency in both languages, deep understanding of terminology, and adherence to professional standards. Certified interpreters have undergone rigorous testing that ensures linguistic accuracy.

Many court interpreting certification programs assess not only oral fluency but also written comprehension, making certified interpreters well-equipped to handle translations of legal, medical, or official documents. Prosecutors and public defenders often call on them to do so, and their translations are regularly admitted as evidence in court.

Documents of five pages or less will generally take us one business day to deliver. For every five pages, add an extra business day.

You will receive your documents electronically in PDF format; no print copies will be provided.

Legal/Court Interpreting

What kind of legal interpreting services do you offer in Florida?

We provide interpreting for depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

We currently provide interpreting services for Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, French, Russian, Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hebrew. Feel free to contact us to inquire about additional languages.

Yes, whenever a certified interpreter is available according to Florida rules, we provide one. All our interpreters are thoroughly vetted.

Our legal interpreters undergo a rigorous vetting process that includes certification verification, personal interviews, experience and background reviews, reference checks, and a trial period. Only interpreters who consistently meet our high standards are retained.

Yes, simply use our request form. In addition to the notice, a copy of the complaint of the case is useful because it helps the interpreter prepare.

We offer services statewide.

Yes, but this happens only rarely because we aim to fulfill every request. However, we will decline a request for an interpreter if we are not confident that we can provide a professional with the specific linguistic fluency, subject-matter expertise, and relevant experience necessary for the situation.

Our priority is to ensure accurate and effective communication. Sending an interpreter who isn’t the ideal fit could compromise the integrity of the proceedings, especially in sensitive legal settings.

Therefore, rather than providing a suboptimal service, we believe it’s more ethical and beneficial to be transparent and decline the request. We might, in such cases, try to suggest alternative resources or referrals if possible.

Our commitment is to quality and accuracy, and that guides our decision-making process for every request we receive.

While certified interpreters are preferred, they may not exist for all languages or be available at all times even when certification is offered. When a certified interpreter cannot be secured, we will provide the most qualified professional from our network.

Billing

My document is only one page long, so why am I being charged for two pages?

Our per-page rate covers up to 250 words. Pages exceeding this will incur an additional page fee for each 250 words or any portion thereof.

That is because Certified Language Services, LLC is our parent company, and it does business as We Translate Now.
